Now, usually I am the one running omega. But the few times that I do come against it I found it best to RED BAR it because of pod. If you try to do the right thing of watching the field most of the time your sb will be too early.

Please if you don't know how to play prot monk do not post advice to someone trying to learn. These threads should be encouraged not spammed with nonsense. Red bar protting is an extremely bad and fragile concept. By the time you have cast you would have missed a large proportion of the damage. I don't want to hear people saying if they have PoD don't bother. You should be instructing your team to shut it down.

Watching the party bars for a hex is probably the worst piece of tripe I have ever heard. Against a very bad team it may work but against anyone who knows how to fake spike you may as well bend over for them.

Watching the warrior will not give you enough time to prot the spike efficiently if at all. Watch the slowest caster. As all the casters spike skills are a second or less watch the ranger.

I wont even comment on randomly spamming prots across the team comment.
